Yes. Average duration in the wild is 208 days, while captive marmots hibernate for 130 days. Two points of interest?

1) wild hibernation duration is apparently NOT influenced by annual weather patterns.

2) captive hibernation duration is shortened regardless of the facility in which marmots were housed.
