Today (7 June 2002) we offiically open the Tony Barrett Mount Washington Marmot Recovery Centre. I've been asked to provide a brief history of recovery efforts...how did we get here from there?

Time precludes more than a summary of highlights. And as is true of all histories written by an individual, beware that my selection of "highlights" is just "my selection" of highlights.
