In May, MacMillan Bloedel announced a donation of 270 ha for a marmot reserve, together with another 235 ha on "P" Mtn. (not shown on this map).

The area included Haley Lake in the south and most of Gemini Peak. These donations were never formalized...they just disappeared from discussions.
